pictorial roses

roses by kooky tuason

The roses
in your tongue
pass through my lungs

reaching

for butterflies that flutter
freely
in my stomach

staring at you
staring at me

beaming smile

your scent
caress
you impress
my arms
to produce
a well-watered garden
feeding
on your roses...

[I found this poem at KC Concepcion's multiply account. it wasn't actually this poem that I am looking for but an info that I've read in a newspaper about Romancing Venus and then I got into her blog, saw this poem
and love it
so today's venus in transit, huh]

rosas by Hensley Banzales

Yes, you freeze the pain
like nobody else does.

You are the most fragile that blooms --
a flower that sits as a flower,
fully-blushing, almost red,
naked as a lover waiting to be loved.

[it's one of my favorite poems from him, I wish I could write a poem about a rose the way he do]

I am happy when my roses are blooming because I don't have that so-called green thumb
so every time  a  new one blooms
I'd like to capture it in pictures

  1. I like the shape of the large white empty pitcher. It reminds me of picasso.
