it feels somewhat like a distant memory...

so it's been two years

not until now that I realized that it has been two years since I started this blog. I could still remember myself bemoaning about my dysfunctional computer, so many things have happened...some happy, some sad but everything is worth writing about...very thankful to jac for introducing me to blogspot since I find it hard to be so active in allpoetry nowadays especially when my muse comes to me like a once in a blue moon epiphany

and for my babydoll whom I share this blog with...

Papa Yeye

my uncle whom I call Papa Yeye


we ride on his bike & have ice cream after he plays basketball in the afternoon when ice cream is once spelled magnolia
he would take me to school with his bike
he was teaching me with my homeworks and makes me cry a lot during the lessons
he bought me my first barbie doll with dresses and all her accessories
I cry when he leaves home to Manila when he's still in College

I get big grins when he comes back home every weekend with different girlfriends and they bring pasalubong, Mc Donald's, KFC, cakes and toys

we cried when our pet dog Billie Jean died while we gave her a burial and I placed santan flowers on her grave

he buys me things for school and doesn't  understand why I need to buy a Sweet Valley Twins book, good thing, we had Ate Tess, my most favorite of all of her girlfriends, my kakampi

he took me to all the Universities in Manila for all my entrance exam except for the only school I wanted to go to where Joie was studying.

I used to listen to this song at City Lite. and WOW I just love it so much, the simplicity of the lyrics, my apologies for being cliche, the sound, and the artist's voice...such an audibly beautiful song to me. I just don't know the title and the artist...it's a century and more and that information is still a mystery...a City Lite dj used to tell on air that it is an Eric Benet song and the title is "so on love" but I could not get any info online

Zadee and I found a hang out to grub.They serve scoop of ice cream for just 10 pesos . they have flavors

like strawberry ice cream, bllueberry and greentea, you can even have it with banana split or neapolitan.

now a place like this in a barrio...wow improving na ang lugar namin! And they even serve waffles with

cream and fruits

although I still love to have my homemade pancakes...and I couldn't find philsburry on our local stores.

been doing pancakes by scratch...as long as I have these ingredients:

a cup of flour, a teaspoon of baking powder, tablespoons of sugar, a piece of egg, a pinch of salt & 

a cup of milk

I am happy when my roses are blooming because I don't have that so-called green thumb

so every time  a  new one blooms

back to school in a new school

Grade 1 student and yes she made it to SPED

I was not even in SPED when I was in grade school

okay I was but only in first grade

I was not good in Math

I think I always almost fail the subject hahaha

She had the exam April 16 and and the results

were posted May 28

I was looking for her name at the bottom of the list, thinking their

names were alphabetically listed

and to my surprised. I saw her name among the top ten 

students who passed the test out of 2oo examinees

although it will be a challenge, she needs to stay among

the top 25 for her to stay in SPED
