day 111 of 365...

i miss writing...really, i wish i have more time for sleep or more time for things that does not involved sleeping. I've been very intimate with my bed, my comfort zone...or that couch that i take power naps at the office lounge, i don't know if i snore. well i don't care about that anymore.

i just thought i must have a little update of my not so updated 365 project. i thought i can post something on a daily basis but sigh sigh sigh...at least i am still on with this project. and it really helps me express myself somehow. and i thought i have a lot to say but for now i am all sigh...still overwhelmed on everything happening to me... feel blessed but stressed at the same time. anyways,i am thankful that i can handle things, hopefully, i could...so help me God... i still don't have that dream camera or a dream phone for a camera. but i read from somewhere that the best camera is what you have. :)

well i am just gonna sigh for now. i think this is what i am good at...sighing

a little something for the new year...

randomly writing my thoughts...no edits...just impromptu's...november and december of 2012 have been so fast-pace for me...wistful, that they did not end so soon, so 2013 is a new start, hoping to still have the optimistic vibe that those months gave me, so many things have happened and I never felt so blessed...from zadee's birthday and then designing birthday invitations for my friends with their daughter's birthday...to finally be working...meeting new friends...zadee's being a flowergirl on his Uncle's wedding, Christmas, New Year...answered prayers for my Mom. Being able to provide for zadee. so so thankful for that year. I miss writing poems on AP, I miss Ma'Dee, I miss Jac and I miss blogspot, where mostly all the small realities I've collected daily are being written here. I kinda felt I am no longer good on words, or maybe there some realities that you can't really find words to say...things unexplainable like saudade and deja vu...this year I've started this daily collection of photos which I am posting at instagram...I am going to at least try...my project 365...so I am now on my day 14. hopefully...maybe just maybe...I can complete this until day 365 :)

and lastly I just want to thank all the beautiful people I met in my life of 2012...who's been an inspiration to me most of the time, salamat, you all know who you are..xo

Though I often looked for one, I finally had to admit that there could be no cure for Paris. ~ Hemingway

"That Paris exist

and anyone could choose to live anywhere else in the world

will always be a mystery to me."

~ Midnight in Paris

yes, that Paris exist, temporarily in our home...

I painted this Paris scene mural and had this diy Le Tour Eiffel replica...

in her favorite shade...pink.

Thank you for our neighbor's bougainvilla haha

I don't have enough budget so might as well give all the effort... oui! bien sur!

..Ang hindi maipaintang mukha ni Mona Lisa

after I painted the "Mona Lisa".
I decided to make the extra styrofoam into a vintage frame
and I am glad they like all these...
and my fave shot of  the girls, they look like they are having a blast :)

merci beaucoup

Parvati's bite-sized french macarons from Petite Patisserie
diy...makes you want to try everything, so happy that these pompoms turn out really well :)
Keep Calm & Enjoy

KC was in charged of the cake, she had a friend that takes cakes&cupcakes orders, which saved me a lot as well from discounts. ooh la la love it :)

my birthday girl

I had a pretty set up for the cafe until the fondue suddenly decided to become an active volcano and erupted splashes of chocolate lava even before I could take a picture. (pag wala nga namang dating ganito sa barrio

checking how my paper mache teacup will look like as party favors. I think I paper mache'd
around 50 teacups, didn't meet my 60 teacups goal :(
but Ann Wood's  teacups did save me a lot from buying expensive party favors

   teacup+cupcake=<3>
@le cafe zadee: free teacups for everyone with heart marshmallows or chocolate rice crispies
my not-so-pretty diy paper bags, and zadee's merci-giveaways :D, something that I bought 15 pesos each @ toyrus :) and lest I forget, my diy cake stand 20 pesos platter, 35 pesos doily but got it for 30 pesos and 25 pesos bowl at our public market

& oh well I will never be somewhere in the bg, if I could divide myself into three, one in the kitchen, one in decorating, taking pictures...etc etc

I tried my hands with these fabric peonies. I found this amazing link for zadee's paris birthday
I need to save a lot so this site has been very helpful for my perspective for this project.

"Paris is always a good idea" ~ Audrey Hepburn

Bon anniversaire Zadee

elle est belle

When you’ve just turned seven
strolling up and down
the wide champs elysees

mistaken for mona lisa
under the eiffel tower

you just want to find
an outdoor cafe

where hemingway‘s
writing another short story

a place to just chill
you and your girlfriends

sipping from tea cups
with hand painted hearts
made of papier mache’

for a birthday girl by Ken Smith

oh the places you'll go...

"Oh the places you'll go

You're off to Great Places!
Today is your day!

I owe a credit to this link for the... Paris print  of the envelope

...dreaming of Paris

A Paris

Regardant te ciel couleur miel

 Qui embrasse ce fleuve

Qui doucement se couchant

nous chuchote bonsoir

nous restons hypnotises,

sur ce pont

les fleurs

Hensley's poem is just beautiful, so I thought I might post it on my blog (ay hindi nya alam hehe)

...prickles of wild roses...

 When I say:
"let us cut—
our love string".

                     Your smile succumbs,
                     petals pirouette
                                                      like cardinals leaving
                                                      a beautifully covered nest;

                     I cannot self forgive
                     for loving you until today.

since when did I become a butterfly paparazzi?

my pink pitiminis, I don't know why they are called this name
and my november's first bloom, a yellow rose

the weeks just go too fast, and it's zadee's birthday on wednesday. I am just out of words on days like this, and maybe some simple photographs can make me express that I am thankful for a good life

november morning breeze

it's the first day of november again, a day for Mama...and I still wonder why roses don't bloom in november...specifically on the first day. I went to the florist, and he told me that he can't make roses for Mama this time, so roses are really hard to find in this event, and we are miles away from Dangwa...I said okay with a sigh and ordered four arrangements of these, have to go to the cemetery before these flowers topple on my coffee table
