day 111 of 365...
i miss writing...really, i wish i have more time for sleep or more time for things that does not involved sleeping. I've been very intimate with my bed, my comfort zone...or that couch that i take power naps at the office lounge, i don't know if i snore. well i don't care about that anymore.
i just thought i must have a little update of my not so updated 365 project. i thought i can post something on a daily basis but sigh sigh sigh...at least i am still on with this project. and it really helps me express myself somehow. and i thought i have a lot to say but for now i am all sigh...still overwhelmed on everything happening to me... feel blessed but stressed at the same time. anyways,i am thankful that i can handle things, hopefully, i could...so help me God... i still don't have that dream camera or a dream phone for a camera. but i read from somewhere that the best camera is what you have. :)
well i am just gonna sigh for now. i think this is what i am good at...sighing

...dreaming of Paris
A Paris
Regardant te ciel couleur miel
Qui embrasse ce fleuve
Qui doucement se couchant
nous chuchote bonsoir
nous restons hypnotises,
sur ce pont

les fleurs
Hensley's poem is just beautiful, so I thought I might post it on my blog (ay hindi nya alam hehe)
...prickles of wild roses...
When I say:
"let us cut—
our love string".
Your smile succumbs,
petals pirouette
like cardinals leaving
a beautifully covered nest;
I cannot self forgive
for loving you until today.
"let us cut—
our love string".
Your smile succumbs,
petals pirouette
like cardinals leaving
a beautifully covered nest;
I cannot self forgive
for loving you until today.
since when did I become a butterfly paparazzi?

my pink pitiminis, I don't know why they are called this name
and my november's first bloom, a yellow rose
the weeks just go too fast, and it's zadee's birthday on wednesday. I am just out of words on days like this, and maybe some simple photographs can make me express that I am thankful for a good life

november morning breeze
it's the first day of november again, a day for Mama...and I still wonder why roses don't bloom in november...specifically on the first day. I went to the florist, and he told me that he can't make roses for Mama this time, so roses are really hard to find in this event, and we are miles away from Dangwa...I said okay with a sigh and ordered four arrangements of these, have to go to the cemetery before these flowers topple on my coffee table

it feels somewhat like a distant memory...
so it's been two years
not until now that I realized that it has been two years since I started this blog. I could still remember myself bemoaning about my dysfunctional computer, so many things have happened...some happy, some sad but everything is worth writing about...very thankful to jac for introducing me to blogspot since I find it hard to be so active in allpoetry nowadays especially when my muse comes to me like a once in a blue moon epiphany
and for my babydoll whom I share this blog with...
it sure feels good to sing together to a song that we both love :)
my apologies for the laughter and giggles
and the incorrect lyrics at the end

She wants to say thank you too:)
pictorial roses
roses by kooky tuason
The roses
in your tongue
pass through my lungs
reaching
for butterflies that flutter
freely
in my stomach
staring at you
staring at me
beaming smile
your scent
caress
you impress
my arms
to produce
a well-watered garden
feeding
on your roses...
[I found this poem at KC Concepcion's multiply account. it wasn't actually this poem that I am looking for but an info that I've read in a newspaper about Romancing Venus and then I got into her blog, saw this poem
and love it
so today's venus in transit, huh]
rosas by Hensley Banzales
Yes, you freeze the pain
like nobody else does.
like nobody else does.
You are the most fragile that blooms --
a flower that sits as a flower,
fully-blushing, almost red,
naked as a lover waiting to be loved.
[it's one of my favorite poems from him, I wish I could write a poem about a rose the way he do]
I am happy when my roses are blooming because I don't have that so-called green thumb
so every time a new one blooms
I'd like to capture it in pictures

les roses oranges dans mon jardin
my roses didn’t bloom with their usual size, probably because, it's too hot
this season and I never thought Bukowski would be writing about roses, oh well...
thanks Ken for the french translation :)
"We are like roses that have never bothered to bloom
when we should have bloomed and it is as if the sun has become disgusted
with waiting."
~ Charles Bukowski

Paperbacks

There are no new stories. It all depends on how you handle them. In romances the characters are going to fall in love with each other; you know that when you see the syrupy cover. It's how they get there that's the fun." ~ Jude Deveraux
I think I graduated from reading Jude Deveraux...although, I still have some of her books that I bought unread. These two are special to me, The Princess was a gift from my lola on my College graduation and The Conquest is a gift from my Mom...plus these two are my most favorite novel she did...
